Equine Digestive disorders and chronic colic
Chronic Colic
Case History Altivo de Viking (Alti)

Breed: Paso Fino
Age: 11 years
Sex: Gelding
Owner: A. Clark—Coarsegold, CA
(See Digestion & Colic Support Formulas)
Alti had a tendency to colic whenever the weather changed or his feed changed or he got shots, especially when more than one of these events happened simultaneously. All we could do is call the vet and have him perform all the things he could think of, like tube gas-x into his stomach, and when that didn't work tube mineral oil into him and provide pain medication. All over a period of several grueling and expensive days of vet care. So after the last episode I was determined to find out what I could do to prevent it in the first place and began inquiring around only to find that the cause is pretty vague. In the process I did learn about Gloria and her herbs and decided to give them a try. Since then, I have been giving Alti Chinese herbs blended specially by Gloria to calm him and also aid his digestion. He hasn't had another episode. And it's been almost a year. I give him just one tablespoon per day (two if he looks suspicious) mixed in with some chopped carrots and apples, and he even seems to like it.
Thank you, Gloria
