Equine health through excellent nutrition
Do you have a picky eater?
Generally horses accept the addition of herbs to their feed buckets without any problems. Many horses actually like the taste of herbs and lick their buckets clean. Occasionally, you will encounter a picky eater.
In that situation, I recommend starting with ¼ teaspoon of powdered herbs and gradually increasing up to the full dose over a week or two. I like to use small hay pellets or organic beet pulp moistened with water as a base for your herbs and vitamin and mineral supplements. A handful of hemp or flax seeds can be added to make things more attractive. A little apple sauce or honey can work as well as an enticement.

Nutritional Support Formulas
"Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food" - Hippocrates
Ancient cultures saw the wisdom of supporting peak health through proper nutrition. Traditional Chinese medicine advocates formulas that improve and stabilize immune function. Preventing problems with excellent nutrition is a much better than reacting when problems appear.
